Authors comment: My research for this book took me to opposite ends of the country, and i met many people who knew and loved Master Joe - The book won for me a much coveted Radio Industry SONY Award for my investigative Journalism.
For me the greatest reward for all of my work came the following year - I visited the grave on a couple of occasions. The owner of Lismore Records, a Glasgow Music Company, paid for and funded the erection of a headstone. "Master Joe Petersen"
