We can transfer all media, 78’s, LP’s, 45’s, Mini Disc, DAT, Reel to Reel and Cassette tapes, eliminating extraneous noise, hiss and crackle, and restoring the original sound. Whilst worn records can be digitally enhanced and cracked or broken records repaired, we must inspect it before any work is considered.
Many private recordings were made on 78 lacquer (aluminium with a black lacquer sprayed surface) records of family members. Records of this type were made to be played with a trailer needle and had a limited number of plays. But people often played them with the normal steel needles, damaging the surface and losing sound forever. We can often improve what is left of the sound.
Whilst the condition of any source material be it 78, LP or whatever is imperative to any successful transfer, in the majority of cases most can be transferred with excellent results!
